At the behest of Delhi Government, Delhi police filed a FIR against ABVP candidates to mentally torture the. FIR was registered on the pretext of pasting posters in the campus, which is against the “code of conduct” of DUS. Actually these posters were pasted by aspiring candidates as pre-election campaign it has no pertaining relationship with ongoing election campaig. The same exercised had done by NSUI candidates but Delhi Police didn’t register any case against NSUI candidates. According to Delhi Police this case was filed under the Bengal Act. It shows the government’s frustration towards the increasing the popularity of ABVP Candidates in recent DUSU Election.
Congress petty politics didn’t affect the ABVP campaign schedule, as our candidates campaigned in two groups. One group is comprised of Nupur Sharma (Presidential candidate) & Mukesh Shukla (Jt. Sec. Candidate) visit to Sradhananda, Aditi, and Delhi College of Engineering in the morning session and in the evening they went to colleges located in North Delhi during the campaigning, Nupur Sharma ABVP Presidential candidate addresses the gathering in which she strongly condemn & censure the congress government for mischievous act. According to Mukesh Shukla ABVP JT. Secretarial candidate, for the last few years DUSU is the dominated by the NSUI but they didn’t fulfill their promises and betrayed the student’s community.
On the other hand the other group comprised of Vasu Rukhar (Vice-Presidential candidate) & Anupriya Yadav (Sec. Candidate) visited to Satyawati, Laxmibai, SRCC, & Khalsa, Miranda college and some outer Delhi colleges. In the campaigning trail Secretarial candidate Anupriya Yadav vows to make Delhi University a safe & fear free campus.Vice–Presidential candidate Vasu Rukhar emphasized on infrastructure development.

not aginst nsui because NSUI is no match to us but aginst congress party and also state machinery
and to whole india that congress party is such a weak that it has lost aginst student organisation

ABVP is really an innovative student union.It always stands for student and national intrest.For the sake of student`s intrest some years ago made protest against BJP Gov.(led by sahib singh Verma)on the issu of BUS Pass hike.It shows ABVP never hesitate to criticise its parental Party for the sake of intrest of student.I ,as astudent,salute this student organization.
