लिंगदोह कमेटी की सिफारिशों को मानते हुए रिक्शा में चुनाव-प्रचार करते एबीवीपी प्रत्याशीप्रेस विज्ञप्ति
विद्यार्थी परिषद् डूसू चुनाव अपने कैडर व कार्यकर्ताओं के मनोबल के दम पर लड़ेगी। अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद डूसू चुनाव जीतने के लिए धनबल और बाहुबल का मुकाबला अपने कार्यकर्ताओं के मनोबल से करेगी। विद्यार्थी परिषद् दूसरे संगठनों की भांति केवल चुनाव लड़ने के लिए विश्वविद्यालय परिसर में नहीं है, अपितु परिषद् के कार्यकर्ता साल भर सक्रिय रहकर छात्रों के बीच कार्य करते हैं। इस वर्ष विद्यार्थी परिषद् ने पन्द्रह हजार नए छात्र-छात्राओं को परिषद् का सदस्य बनाया है।
विद्यार्थी परिषद् ने शैक्षणिक सत्र के प्रारंभ से ही छात्रों से संपर्क व प्री इलेक्शन कैम्पेन चलाकर छात्र-छात्राओं के बीच अपनी पकड़ मजबूत बना ली है। विद्यार्थी परिषद् इस वर्ष के चुनाव में एनएसयूआई की चार वर्षों में डूसू की विफलता को मुख्य मुद्दा बनाएगी। विद्यार्थी परिषद् छात्रों के बीच डूसू जीतने के बाद छात्र हितों के लिए किये जाने वाले कार्यों को अपने घोषणा पत्र के माध्यम से छात्रों के बीच रखेगी।
चुनाव प्रचार अभियान के प्रथम दिन विद्यार्थी परिषद् के चारों प्रत्याशियों ने दो ग्रुप बनाकर चुनाव में अपनी ताकत झोंकी। जहां एक ओर अध्यक्ष पद की उम्मीदवार नूपूर शर्मा व संयुक्त सचिव मुकेश शुक्ला ने मोतीलाल, रामलाल आनंद, वेंकेटेश्वर व आत्माराम सनातन धर्म कॉलेज में चुनाव प्रचार कर छात्र-छात्राओं से विद्यार्थी परिषद् के पैनल के लिए वोट मांगे, वहीं दूसरी ओर सचिव पद की उम्मीदवार अनुप्रिया यादव व उपाध्यक्ष पद के उम्मीदवार वासु रूख्खड़ ने हिन्दू कॉलेज, रामजस, हंसराज, किरोड़ी मल कॉलेज व लॉ डिपार्टमेंट में विद्यार्थी परिषद् के पैनल के समर्थन में चुनाव प्रचार कर छात्र-छात्राओं से वोट की अपील की।
परिषद् के उम्मीदवारों ने बताया कि आज के अभियान में सभी महाविद्यालयों में विद्यार्थी परिषद् के पैनल का जोरदार स्वागत किया गया व विद्यार्थी परिषद् द्वारा उठाये गए मुद्दों का भी समर्थन किया गया। परिषद् की अध्यक्ष पद की उम्मीदवार नूपुर शर्मा ने बताया कि दोनों ग्रुप सायंकालीन सत्र में दयाल सिंह, पीजीडीएवी, एलसी-2, मोतीलाल, आत्माराम सनातन धर्म कॉलेज व रामजस, करोड़ीमल, हिन्दू कॉलेज व हंसराज कॉलेज के छात्रावासों में भी संपर्क कर अपने पैनल के लिए वोट मागेंगे।

ABVP -always takes a unique and positive initiative towards the betterment of nation. The campaigning of DUSU ABVP candidates on the cycle rickshaw is an example of this uniqueness and respect of Ligdoh committee as well. Along with this, the concept of this campaigning, shows the creativity of largest student organisation of the world; ABVP. We respect all the decision of the Supreme Court, for the betterment of our mother India, the largest democracy of the world. ABVP is the only student organisation, which talks for culturally strong nation, for secular India, for student/youth power and its use in nation development and do also, whatever ABVP talk. There is no any difference between in our thinking, talking and working pattern. We think for culturally strong country, we talk about the same and we sacrifice also for our mother India. My best wishes to all of the Central panel candidates as well as councillors’ candidate of ABVP, who are fighting against the enemy of the nation.

Aisa nahi hai ki ABVP ko canadidate nahi mila, we choose better than the best,(Wo naya hi kyun na ho, it does not matter). Karyakarta shulk 2 rs, jo bhi hua hai, sirf wo ek aupcharitka hai..1 Rs or 2 rs koi maanye nahi rakhta hai..Is Jamane mein jehan Inflation rate 13 percent ke karib hai...
Bas aap Dil se sath de Parishad ko wahi bahut hai. NSUI and ABVP--mein koi compare ho nahi sakta hai...Aise Aise University hai jehan NSUI ka naam bhi nahi log jaante hai, Lakin Most of university mein ABVP either Union mein hai ya Against mein. And we will win , DUSU ELECTION..

It is said "well begun is half done". ABVP has made a wonderful beginning abiding by the decisions of the highly-flawed Lyngdoh Committee recommendations and taking the issue of model campaign to the students.52 campuses,7 parliamentary constituencies, around One-lakh students,6-7 days of campaign time;if Lyngdoh is asked to cover even one round he will certainly land himself in ICU. It is easier to draft reports sitting in A/C rooms, moving around in chauffeur driven A/C cars with lots of public money to spend that too after 30 years of cosy bureaucratic life with no experience of student activism whatsoever,than to go out to the streets with little resource and myriad of personal and public responsibilities. ABVP deserves a win and I am sure, God willing, they will come out with flying colours this time.
